That means building relationships, getting the platform in front of people who’ll actually use it, and turning your local network into an active marketplace. This is a commission-only 1099 role. No base salary, no ceiling, your income reflects how active your market becomes. What You’ll Do • Connect with event planners running weddings, parties, mixers, and free public events • Onboard local businesses: DJs, barbers, restaurants, vendors, photographers • Pitch venues, promoters, and community organizers on hosting through EventLuma • Show up at local events and nightlife spots to build awareness • Walk new users through creating their first event or listing • Support ticketed event organizers through a successful launch Who You Are • A self-starter, nobody’s checking your hours • Plugged into your local scene (events, hospitality, small business, or nightlife) • Comfortable starting conversations and following up • Motivated by results, not a paycheck schedule How You Earn Stream Payout Private Business $50 per verified event created Business listings Up to $150 per business onboard Ticketed events 50% of platform fees on events you bring in Active markets compound: more users bring more events, which bring more businesses, which bring more bookings, and earn across all of it.
